When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 375ºF and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels (remove and discard giblets, if any). Lightly season the entire chicken, including the cavity, with Traeger Chicken Rub.
Insert the probe into the thickest part of the breast. Place the chicken directly on the grill grates,
breast-side up. Close the lid and cook until the internal temperature reaches 160ºF, about 70 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken.
Remove the chicken from grill and let rest until internal temperature reaches 165ºF, 15-20 minutes.
Carve the chicken, then serve. Enjoy!
